— A well-known resident of the Berne community, Mrs. Mary Rupp Lantz, 83, died on July 4 at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Raymond Moser, following a long illness. Mrs. Lantz was the widow of the late Rev. Eli Lantz, who served as pastor of the Defenseless Mennonite church at Berne for many years. Born in Fulton county, Ohio December 26, 1862, she had resided in the Berne community for 42 years. She is survived by four sons and four daughters. | |||
