— A large funeral was held at Hesston Saturday forenoon when Mrs. Rebecca Kauffman, mother of president Milo Kauffman of Hesston College, was laid to her final resting place. The services were in the Hesston College chapel, after which interment was made in the Pennsylvania church cemetery. Among the children and close relatives who had come from a distance to attend the funeral were Rev. and Mrs. Archie Kauffman of Sweet Home, Oregon; John Kauffman, Corvallis, Oregon; George Kauffman, Albany, Oregon; Mrs. Clayton Kauffman and Mrs. Lina Synder [sic Snyder], Hammett, Idaho.
