CROSSING STREET TO CHURCH, STRUCK DOWN BY CAR
Albany, Ore. — David J. Steckley, 58, a member of the Twelfth Street Mennonite church here was instantly killed on Sunday evening, June 12, when struck by a car as he attempted to cross a street on the way to church services.
Funeral services were conducted June 15 at the Twelfth Street church, with Geo. Kauffman and M. E. Brenneman officiating.
He leaves his mother, one brother, and two sisters.
