EMIL DALKE

Mr. and Mrs. J. P. Dalke and family of Newport, Washington, received the sad news on January 14 that their son and brother, Emil, was killed in action in Europe some time in October.

A memorial service was held for Emil at the Newport Mennonite church on January 21. The opening was made by Bro. Ernest Unruh of Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. Rev. P. D. Unruh, pastor of the church, gave the message. Special music was given by the Kliewer sisters quartet, a duet by Phyllis and Mary Ann Unruh and a solo by Gerald Mott of Sandpoint.
