David H. Thiesen, 76, of Goessel died Aug. 29 at the Bethesda Hospital there. Funeral services were held Thursday forenoon at the Tabor Mennonite Church, of which he was a member, with Rev. H. B. Schmidt officiating. A retired farmer, Mr. Thiesen entered the Bethesda Home at Goessel in December 1963, following the death of his wife, Sarah. Survivors include three sons, Adolf of rural Newton, Walter of Newton, and Henry of Reedley, Calif., and nine grandchildren.
