LIFE-LONG RESIDENT OF COMMUNITY AT WAYLAND IA., CALLED TO REWARD

Wayland, Iowa, march 5. — Joseph Schantz, a life-long resident of the Wayland community died Thursday after an illness of several years. Mr. Schantz had recently suffered with pneumonia, which was instrumental in his death.

Funeral services were held at the Stacy Funeral Home in Wayland Saturday afternoon at 2:00 o'clock. Following the services at the funeral home services were held at the Eicher church. rev. Delbert Welty of the Eicher church was in charge.
