— In Minnesota, Mountain Lake's well known photographer, C. J. Brown, passed away Friday, Feb. 6, after a serious operation. He had managed a photographic studio in Mountain Lake for 37 years. Surviving are one sister, Mrs. Jacob Kunkel, Alsen, N. D., and five brothers: J. J. Brown, Mountain Lake; John H. Brown, Minneapolis; Rev. H. J. Brown, China missionary; and Gerhard and Peter Brown, Noonan, N. D. Funeral services were held at the Bethel church conducted by Rev. Erland Waltner.
