PAUL BAEHR

Paul Baehr, 82, of Chicago, died Jan. 19, 1997, in Mac Meal [sic Mac Neal] Hospital, Berwyn, Ill. He was born May 31, 1913, in Goshen, Ind., to Jacob and Edna (Martin) Baehr.

Paul lived in Chicago for 54 years. He attended Oak Park United Church of Christ and was active in the church choir.

Paul grew up on the Bethel College campus in North Newton, Kan. he graduated from Bethel College and served in Civilian Public Service during World War II. Among his life-long interests were music and ornithology.

Surviving are two brothers, Herbert and Rufus; and a sister, Ruth Shepard.
