— Funeral services were held at the First Mennonite church Monday afternoon for Henry S. Lehrman, 59, who passed away at Bethel Deaconess hospital Friday morning, May 14. He had been a patient at the hospital since suffering a heart attack on May 8. Rev. D. J. Unruh, Rev. J. E. Entz, and Rev. J. R. Duerksen conducted the services. The family, former residents of the Goessel community, had lived in Newton since 1943 and Mr. Lehrman was employed by the Sante Fe. He is survived by his wife, Justina, six children, Kathleen, Otto, Ralph, and Walter of the home, Mrs. Harold Siemens of Medora and Mrs. John Dirksen, Newton; three sisters and three brothers, Minnie Lehrman, Goessel, Mrs. John J. Schmidt and John S. Lehrman, Hillsboro, Mrs. Henry Quiring and David S. Lehrman, Newton, and Peter S. Lehrman of Newport, Wash. | |||
