'''FRED PETERS,''' son of Jacob D. Peters and Katherine Thieszen, was born January 4, 1898, in York County, Nebraska.  When nine years old creeping paralysis set in and left him a cripple and finally an invalid for life.  On May 20, 1918, he was baptixzed [''sic''] by Elder H. H. Epp and accepted as a  member of the Bethesda Mennonite Church, Henderson.  Since the death of his parents he lived with relatives, at the Salem Home near Hillsboro, and at a convalescent home in Beatrice, Nebraska.  He was patient in the bearing of his cross.

FRED PETERS, son of Jacob D. Peters and Katherine Thieszen, was born January 4, 1898, in York County, Nebraska. When nine years old creeping paralysis set in and left him a cripple and finally an invalid for life. On May 20, 1918, he was baptixzed [sic] by Elder H. H. Epp and accepted as a member of the Bethesda Mennonite Church, Henderson. Since the death of his parents he lived with relatives, at the Salem Home near Hillsboro, and at a convalescent home in Beatrice, Nebraska. He was patient in the bearing of his cross.
