• Mrs. J. E. Regier, 76, a lifetime resident of the Newton area, died unexpectedly July 9 at Bethel Deaconess Hospital. Survivors include a son, Max of Wichita; daughters, Mrs. Andrew (Ruth) Douglass of newton, and Mrs. Marylou Sterling of Denver, Colo. Her husband died in 1954. The funeral was conducted Saturday morning at the Bethel College Mennonite Church. | |||
