Wife of Bluffton Professor Dies
Bluffton, Ohio. — Memorial services for Mrs. Nancy R. Suter, 30, wife of a Bluffton College chemistry professor, were held Sept. 8 at the First Mennonite Church here. She died Monday, Sept. 6, in the Bluffton Community Hospital from complications of childbirth.
Mrs. Suter, the former Nancy Heiks, was married to Prof. Robert W. Suter in 1963. She was a graduate of Bluffton College, a former elementary teacher in the Bluffton school system, and a member of the First Church.
Surviving in addition to her husband are a daughter, Elizabeth Louise, and a newborn son, James Peter; her mother, Mrs. Ray (Ruth Bixel) Heiks, two sisters, Mrs. Terry Chappell and Kristy Heiks, and a brother, James, all of Bluffton.
