• Mrs. Wayne Schroeder of Hillsboro, the former Joan Klassen, died Dec. 31 at St. Francis Hospital in Wichita at the age of 30. Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at the Brudertal Church near Hillsboro, in charge of Rev. Walter Neufeld, and burial was made in the Alexanderwohl cemetery near Goessel. Mrs. Schroeder was born in San Francisco, Calif., the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ted Klassen, and attended Stanford University. She had resided at Hillsboro since 1961. Survivors include her husband and two daughters of the home, and her parents, now residing in New York, N. Y. | |||
