Mr. Schroeder died Nov. 14 at the Kingman Memorial hospital where he had been a patient one day. He was a member of the Troy township board.

Lifelong Resident Dies at Age 61

Pretty Prairie, Kan. — Funeral services for George W. Schroeder, 61, sell-known farmer here and a lifelong resident of this community, were held Nov. 17 at the First Mennonite church. Rev. Elmer Friesen, the pastor, officiated.

Mr. Schroeder died Nov. 14 at the Kingman Memorial hospital where he had been a patient one day. He was a member of the Troy township board.

Surviving are the widow, the former Ida Schwartz, three daughters, two sons, two sisters, seven half-brothers and half-sisters, and 13 grandchildren.
