+ | • John J. Kaufman, 81, for many years operator of a machine shop in the Alta Mill community, died at his home on South Main Street here Wednesday evening, Sept. 12, after a long illness. He was a member of the Eden Mennonite Church near Moundridge where the funeral services were conducted Friday afternoon by Rev. Arnold Nickel. Surviving are his widow, Anna, five daughters and four sons, all of this area, one sister, two brothers, 16 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. |
