Alice V. Heatwole Horst was born June 14, 1912, near Dayton Va., the daughter of Enos and Clara Shank Heatwole. She died Jan. 5, 1997, at Harrisonburg, Va., at age 84.

On Feb. 29, 1936, she married Lloyd S. Horst. They were married 60 years. She assisted her husband in many ways in his office as minister and bishop and was a member at Bank Mennonite church.

She is survived by her husband Lloyd; five sons, Joseph F. of Century, Fla., James D. of Mount Crawford, Amos D. of Mount Crawford, Amos D. of Harrisonburg, Enos H. of Franklin, W. Va., and Reuben W. of Mount Joy, Pa.; two daughters, Rachel and husband David Schrock of Dayton, and Anna and husband Gary Miller of Middlebury, Ind.; two sisters, Eunice Wenger of Dayton and Hannah Huber of Teaswater, Ont.; two brothers, David E. of Dayton and Nelson J. of Onego, W. Va.; 21 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

ALICE HEATWOLE HORST

Alice V. Heatwole Horst was born June 14, 1912, near Dayton Va., the daughter of Enos and Clara Shank Heatwole. She died Jan. 5, 1997, at Harrisonburg, Va., at age 84.

On Feb. 29, 1936, she married Lloyd S. Horst. They were married 60 years. She assisted her husband in many ways in his office as minister and bishop and was a member at Bank Mennonite church.

She is survived by her husband Lloyd; five sons, Joseph F. of Century, Fla., James D. of Mount Crawford, Amos D. of Mount Crawford, Amos D. of Harrisonburg, Enos H. of Franklin, W.
