Catherine N. Burkholder
MARIONCatherine N. Burkholder, 87, died Thursday (March 4, 2004) at St. Luke Living Center in Marion.
She was born Aug. 27, 1916, in Gardiner, N. M., to James and Kate (Fruechting) Burkholder. She had been an accountant.
She was a member of Eastern Star in Peabody and St. Andrew's Methodist Church in San Antonio.
Survivors include many cousins.
Inurnment services will be at 2 p. m. Thursday with a memorial graveside service conducted at the Claney Cemetery in rural Marion. The Rev. Carl Helm will officiate.
A memorial has been established with the J. L. Fruechting Scholarship Fund at Marion High School.
Zeiner Funeral Home in Marion is in charge of arrangements.
