<center><h3>Missionary to Indians In Minnesota Dies</h3></center>
 
Plain City, Ohio. — A number of relatives from this community went to Loman, Minn. to attend funeral services for William A. Kurtz, 54, longtime missionary to the Indians in that northern Minnesota region. The services were held May 11.
 
A native of this community, Rev. Kurtz had served in the Loman area since his release from CPS in 1946. He had been pastor of the Black River Church at Loman, but resigned some time ago because of ill health. He had undergone surgery several times in recent years for a tumor on the spine.
