ACCIDENT INJURIES PROVE FATAL TO MISSIONARIES' SON
Reedley, Calif. — Funeral service were held at the M.B. church here Saturday forenoon, Aug. 30, for Phillip [sic Philip] Kroeker, 12-year-old son of the Missionary A. F. Kroeker family who died of injuries received in a highway accident near Blythe.
The Kroekers, on furlough from the Belgian Congo field, were en route to a youth retreat near Wichita, Kans. when the accident occurred. Mrs. Kroeker was seriously injured also, and is now a patient at the Reedley hospital. Rev. Kroeker and three other children suffered cuts and bruises.
