— Word was received here Tuesday by the John J. Kroeker family that Mr. Kroeker's father, the internationally known Pastor Jacob Kroeker of Germany, died last Sunday at Weisenhaeuserhaf, Muehlhausen, near Stuttgart. He was 77 years of age and bedfast for the past two and one-half years. Pastor Kroeker was an unusually gifted writer and Bible expositor, his writings have been read in nearly all parts of the German-speaking world. Besides Mr. Kroeker here, another son, N. K. and his family reside in Chicago. Seven other surviving children are in Germany. | |||
