•  Fred A. Koehn, 76, who moved here from Enid, Okla. in 1960, died Oct. 29 at Axtell Christian Hospital.  A native of the Halstead community, he formerly was employed by Singer Steel and Metal Company in Enid.  Survivors include his widow, the former Mary Effie Koons, of the home in Newton; sons Adolph of Newton, Martin of LuPente, Calif. and Abner of Jackson, Tenn.; two daughters, Mrs. Dahna Regier in Brazil, and Mrs. Esther Nickel of Auke Bay, Alaska; one brother, Herman, and two sisters, Ruth and Katie Unruh, all of Enid; 19 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.  Mr. Koehn was a member of the Grace Mennonite Church, Enid.  Funeral services were held Tuesday forenoon at the Newton Bible Church, with Rev. S. D. Hartzler officiating.
