FUNERAL SERVICES FOR RETIRED FARMER, CARPENTER AT HILLSBORO
Hillsboro, Kansas — Funeral services for John D. Klassen, 88, took place at the Gnadenau K.M.B. church on Tuesday forenoon, August 13, with Rev. F. V. Wiebe of Ponca, Ark., officiating.
Mr. Klassen had resided in Hillsboro for 26 years and was one of those who was instrumental in the construction of the Salem hospital here. Before coming here he was a carpenter and farmer and resided at Inman and at Hooker, Oklahoma.
He is survived by his wife; one son, J. H. Klassen of Inman; and one adopted daughter.
