MRS. BARBARA LOGANBILL

Our wife and mother, Barbara Loganbill, was born in Dalton, Ohio, on August 26, 1870. She was the daughter of Daniel and Katherine (Hostetter) Bixler. She passed to her eternal reward May 3,1958, reaching the age of 87 years, eight months and seven days.

Mother spent her childhood and early youth on a farm near Dalton. In the year 1891 a young man came from Missouri to claim her as his bride, and she was married to Albert E. Loganbill Dec. 17, 1891. This union was blessed with three sons and five daughters, of whom one son, Altus, preceded mother into eternity in1927. God blessed this marriage with 66 years of happiness and joy.

In 1907 mother moved with the family to Geary, where they lived on a farm north of town. After living in Texas from 1928 to 1953 mother and father returned to Geary to make their home with their daughter Effie, Mrs. E. J. Lehman, till her death.

Mother's illness extended over the last three years. During this time she received the best and tenderest of care from father and the families of her two daughters living in Geary, Orvilla (Mrs. Orlando Ringelman) and Effie.

She leaves to mourn her death her husband, Albert E. Loganbill; five daughters, Effie, Mrs. E. J. Lehman, Orvilla, Mrs. O. K. Ringelman, both of Geary, Martha, Mrs. G. W. Williams of Columbus, Ga., Frieda, Mrs. Randal Lee, and Florence, Mrs. Bruce Kist, both of Napa, Calif.; two sons, Daniel and Clyde Loganbill, both of Mission, Texas; 12 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; three daughters-in-law and five sons-in-law, besides a host of other relatives and friends.

We mourn, but not as those who have no hope. The kind Shepherd came and took His little lamb home to His heavenly mansion where we shall see her again. — Husband and Children.
