— At Gretna, Man., P. H. Loewen, a resident who perhaps had resided there longer than any other person living today, died there Saturday, Feb. 27. he had lived in Gretna since coming from Russia in 1874. Mr. Loewen had followed the trade of carpenter and plasterer. Six sons and two daughters survive.
