&#8212; Word was received here that Mrs. Fred Loeffer [''sic'' Loeffler] of Elbing died very suddenly at her home there at 1:25 a.m. last Sunday.  Quite late in the evening Mrs. Loeffler said to her husband that she was feeling quite ill.  Being unable to rest while lying down, she got up and sat at the kitchen table, where her husband remained at her side to assist her in any way possible. Suddenly he noticed that her head was reclining forward and in a few moments life had ebbed away.  Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at the Zion Mennonite church in Elbing, of which she was a member.

'''Mrs. Fred Loeffler'''
 
Funeral services for Mrs. Fred A. Loeffler, whose death occurred early Sunday morning at her home in Elbing, was conducted Wednesday, May 29 at 11 a. m. in the home by Rev. H. B. Schmidt and will be followed by rites at 2 p. m. in the Zion church with Rev. H. J. Dyck officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery, northeast of Elbing.
 
Mrs. Loeffler, who prior to her marriage was Katie E. Neufeld, was born May 30, 1885 in McPherson county, the daughter of Henry and Katherine (Kroeker) Neufeld. She would soon have been 61 years old. Mrs. Neufeld [sic] spent her childhood near Inman, where she received her education and early spiritual guidance.
 
In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son, Albert, of the home, and the following children and their families: Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Adams of Newton, Mrs. and Mrs. Dan Epp of Colby, Mrs. and Mrs. John Epp, Gilbert and Andrea, Mrs. and Mrs. Ben Epp and Robert, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Epp, Virgil and Jolene.
 
She also leaves the following brothers and sisters: Mrs. Agnes Ediger, Mrs. Mary Regier, Abe and George Neufeld of Meade, Mrs. Susie Friesen of Wichita, Mrs. Lizzie Hiebert of McPherson and John Neufeld of Inman.

— Word was received here that Mrs. Fred Loeffer [sic Loeffler] of Elbing died very suddenly at her home there at 1:25 a.m. last Sunday. Quite late in the evening Mrs. Loeffler said to her husband that she was feeling quite ill. Funeral services for Mrs. Fred A. Loeffler, whose death occurred early Sunday morning at her home in Elbing, was conducted Wednesday, May 29 at 11 a. m. in the home by Rev. H. B.
