Joseph Allen Lehman was born Aug. 18, 1880, near Fortuna, Mo. and departed this life March 10, 1955, at the age of 74 years, six months and 20 days. Mr. Lehman lived in the Fortuna community all his life. | |||
He was the son of Rev. P. P. and Barbara Welty Lehman. Six brothers and four sisters preceded him in death. | |||
In his youth he joined the Bethel Mennonite church and remained a faithful member until his death. He had much interest in the work of the church and took active part in church and school affairs. | |||
On March 26, 1911, he was married to Bertha May Garber. To this union were born eight children: Warren, Herman and Mrs. Paul Hilty of Versailles, Roland of Verona, Wis., Joe Jr. of Fort Collins, Colo., Quinten and Samuel of Versailles and Daniel of Kansas City. | |||
Mr. Lehman was engaged in farming. He had a lingering illness for several years. He leaves to mourn his departure his wife, seven sons, one daughter, 14 grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends. | |||

JOSEPH ALLEN LEHMAN
Joseph Allen Lehman was born Aug. 18, 1880, near Fortuna, Mo. and departed this life March 10, 1955, at the age of 74 years, six months and 20 days. Mr. Lehman lived in the Fortuna community all his life.
