— Funeral services were conducted at the Swiss Mennonite church, Whitewater, Saturday afternoon for Ernest Langenegger, 84, pioneer farmer of the Whitewater and Burns communities. He passed awat at the Bethel Deaconess hospital here shortly before midnight March 1, a few hours after being admitted. Mr. Langenegger was born in Switzerland, and lived in Kansas for over 60 years. His wife, Anna Blaser Langenegger, passed away Feb. 6. Three daughters and four sons survive. | |||
