<center><h3>WELL KNOWN IOWA RESIDENT PASSES AWAY IN FLORIDA</h3></center>
 
Wellman, Iowa. — Word has been received here of the death of L. J. Miller, well-known resident of this community, who succumbed to a heart attack on March 16 while deep sea fishing near Sarasota, Florida. He and Mrs. Miller had planned to return from their annual winter stay in Florida the first week in April.
Brief services were held at Sarasota on March 17, and the body was returned here for final services at the Deer Creek church on Sunday, March 20.
He observed his 76th birthday only one day before his death.
