Lynnhaven, Va. — The Valentine E. Miller picnic at Ocean Park had a tragic outcome when their 16 year old son Ernest drowned shortly after arriving at the park. His 14 year old brother Eli had gone into the water with him, but was saved by Mr. Miller, who was unable to swim to shore with both boys. | |||
Eli was unconscious and had to be revived by first aid, but the body of the older brother quickly disappeared and was found under a bridge on the next day. | |||
