Mrs. Lavina Meyer, 87, of Wayland, Ia. died March 6, 1972 at Henry County Memorial Hospital, Mt. Pleasant, Iowa. | |||
She was born Dec. 1, 1884, at Wayland, the daughter of Joseph and Anna (Schlatter) Roth. After the age of three she was raised in the home of Jacob and Elizabeth Keobel. | |||
On Jan. 8, 1902 she was married to David F. Meyer at Wayland. He died in November 1954. | |||
She was a lifetime resident of Wayland and a charter member of the Wayland Mennonite Church. | |||
She is survived by four daughters, Mrs. William (Esther [''sic'' Ester]) Jadot of Kent, Ohio, Mrs. Mabel Roth of Wayland, Mrs. Donald (Miriam) Kauffman of Fairfield, Iowa, and Mrs. Warren (Ruth) Anderson of Mt. Pleasant, Iowa; three sons, Allen and Elmer, both of Wayland, and Orval of Grinnel, Iowa; 28 grandchildren and 50 great-grandchildren. | |||
Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. March 8 at the Wayland Mennonite Church with Rev. Nick Kassebaum in charge. Her final resting place is in North Hill Cemetery. | |||

LAVINA MEYER
Mrs. Lavina Meyer, 87, of Wayland, Ia. died March 6, 1972 at Henry County Memorial Hospital, Mt. Pleasant, Iowa.
She was born Dec. 1, 1884, at Wayland, the daughter of Joseph and Anna (Schlatter) Roth. After the age of three she was raised in the home of Jacob and Elizabeth Keobel.
On Jan. 8, 1902 she was married to David F. Meyer at Wayland. He died in November 1954.
