ACCIDENT FATAL TO OLDEST RESIDENT

Sugarcreek, Ohio. — Enos Mast, this community’s oldest resident at 86, passed away at the Millersburg hospital May 28 two days after being struck down by a truck while crossing the street near his home. A retired farmer, he had spent his entire life in this vicinity.

Funeral services were held at the Walnut Creek Mennonite church on May 30, in charge of Omar Troyer and Alvin Miller.

Survivors include his wife, Carrie Hostetler Mast, a son and daughter, nine grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
