Ephrata, Pa. — Samuel Z. Martin, 49, of the Hahnstown Community, Route 3, Ephrata, died Dec. 14 in the hospital here a short time after he was struck by a falling tree. Funeral services were held at the Stauffers Mennonite church, of which he was a member. | |||
The tree which he was cutting down fell in the wrong direction, striking his leg and throwing him to the ground. He died from shock and a broken thigh. | |||
His wife, Mrs. Mabel Fox Martin, two brothers and one sister survive. | |||
