Joes, Colo. &#8212; Funeral services were held at the M. B. church here for Peter J. Nikkel who was instantly killed Saturday, May 6, when he was hit by the revolving propellor of the airplane in which his son had just arrived from Wichita, Kansas.

Mr. Nikkel was helping his son, Bernhard Nikkel, get his machine into the yard and was removing a stone from one of the wheels when the accident happened. The elder Nikkel had formerly resided at Hillsboro, Kansas.

Rev. Roland Wiens, minster of the local church, conducted the funeral services.

PETER J. NIKKEL, JOES COLORADO, KILLED BY AIRPLANE PROPELLOR

Joes, Colo. — Funeral services were held at the M. B. church here for Peter J. Nikkel who was instantly killed Saturday, May 6, when he was hit by the revolving propellor of the airplane in which his son had just arrived from Wichita, Kansas.

Mr. Nikkel was helping his son, Bernhard Nikkel, get his machine into the yard and was removing a stone from one of the wheels when the accident happened. The elder Nikkel had formerly resided at Hillsboro, Kansas.

Rev. Roland Wiens, minster of the local church, conducted the funeral services.
