• Funeral services were held last Thursday forenoon at the Lone Tree Church near Moundridge for Sam Nightengale, 69, farmer of the Burns community. He died Dec. 10 at Bethel Deaconess Hospital here. Surviving are his widow, Ella; sons Donald, Marvin and Alvin, all of Burns; a daughter, Mrs. Barbara Schmidt of Newton; 11 grandchildren; four brothers and four sisters. | |||
