&#9679; Jacob H. Neufeld, 89, who came to the Hillsboro community from South Russia at the age of seven, died May 23 at the Bethesda Hospital, Goessel.  The funeral was conducted Monday forenoon at the Tabor Mennonite Church, with Rev. John Gaeddert in charge.  Mr. Neufeld farmed in the Walton, Peabody, Inman and Moundridge communities, and since 1967 had lived with a daughter at Moundridge.  His wife, the former Helena Reimer, died in 1935.  Surviving are three daughters.  Mrs. Arthur K. Schmidt of Newton, Mrs. Jake D. Friesen of Inman, and Mrs. Ed A. Ediger of Moundridge; an adopted son Willard M. of Phoenix, Ariz.; 15 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

● Jacob H. Neufeld, 89, who came to the Hillsboro community from South Russia at the age of seven, died May 23 at the Bethesda Hospital, Goessel. The funeral was conducted Monday forenoon at the Tabor Mennonite Church, with Rev. John Gaeddert in charge.
