Tremont, Ill., Jan. 12. &#8212; Jacob A. Naffziger, 82, died at his home here at 8:50 p. m. Sunday following a several week's illness. 
 
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 1 p.m. at the residence and 2 p.m. at the Pleasant Grove Mennonite church.  The Rev. Bachman and the Rev. Jonas Litwiller of Morton will officiate.  Burial will be in the church cemetery.
 
Mr. Naffziger was born Feb. 16, 1856, in El Paso, the son of Peter and Magdalena Naffziger.  His marriage to Miss Magdalena Heiser took place in Pekin, Feb. 15, 1881.  She preceded him in death a week ago.  He has lived in this community the last 22 years.  He was a member of the pleasant Grove Mennonite church.
 
Surviving are the following children:  Mrs. Oliver Miller of Barrington; Oscar Naffziger of Ithaca, Mich.; Mrs. Carl Oswald of Morton and William E. Naffziger of Pekin; to [''sic''] sisters, Mrs. Anna Litwiller and Mrs. Kate Kauffman, both of Hopedale and three brothers, Henry and Sam Naffziger of Ithaca, Mich., and John Naffziger of Foosland.

Jacob Naffziger

Tremont, Ill., Jan. 12. — Jacob A. Naffziger, 82, died at his home here at 8:50 p. m. Sunday following a several week's illness.
