A heart attack took Mr. Oppliger suddenly on Oct. 19 while he was attending the Western District Conference at Newton as a delegate. He was a highly respected farmer and Christian gentleman, one of the pioneer settlers of this community, and well loved by all who knew him.

HEART ATTACK FATAL TO DELEGATE AT WESTERN DISTRICT CONFERENCE

Ransom, Kansas. — Funeral services were held here Sunday, Oct. 22, for F. Oscar Oppliger, with Rev. John W. Boehr, pastor of the First Mennonite church officiating.

A heart attack took Mr. Oppliger suddenly on Oct. 19 while he was attending the Western District Conference at Newton as a delegate. He was a highly respected farmer and Christian gentleman, one of the pioneer settlers of this community, and well loved by all who knew him.
