Mr. Peters, a retired farmer, had lived in this community for 20 years. He leaves his wife, seven children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, as well as two sisters, Mrs. Anna Sperling of Canada and Mrs. Sara Peters of Washington.

IMMIGRANT FROM RUSSIA DIED AT REEDLEY

Reedley, Calif. — Funeral services for John J. Peters, 82, who was among the Mennonite immigrants from Russia, were held at the Mennonite Brethren church here Dec. 8, Rev. H. R. Wiens officiating. He died at his home in Reedley on Dec. 6.

Mr. Peters, a retired farmer, had lived in this community for 20 years. He leaves his wife, seven children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, as well as two sisters, Mrs. Anna Sperling of Canada and Mrs. Sara Peters of Washington.
