•  Henry J. Penner, 72, who farmed in the Burrton community most of his life, died at the home near Burrton on March 22.  He was a member of the First Mennonite Church of Halstead, where the funeral was conducted on Saturday afternoon by Rev. Arnold E. Funk.  Surviving are his widow, Frances, one daughter, two sons, three brothers, and 11 grandchildren.
