LONG-TIME FREEMAN DRUGGIST CALLED
Freeman, S. D. — Funeral services for John K. Hofer, 77, long-time druggist here, were conducted Aug. 12 at the Bethany Mennonite Church where he had been an active member most of his life. Rev. Hugo Mireau officiated.
A native of this community, he was long active in civic affairs, serving several terms as alderman. The Rexall Drug Company had presented him with a gold watch on his completion of 50 years as a pharmacist.
