It is believed he died of a heart attack April 23 while plowing, as the tractor was found at the edge of the woods after having crossed a field. | |||
Mr. Hostetler had lived alone since the deaths of his wife, Bessie, and daughter Bernis in a 1965 Palm Sunday tornado. Two other daughters and five grandchildren survive. | |||
Funeral services were held on April 30 at the Shore Mennonite Church. | |||

Find Body of Indiana Farmer in Woods
Shipshewana, Ind. — The body of Orla O. Hostetler, 77, was found in a woods at his farm near here on Sunday morning, April 28, five days after he was last seen.
It is believed he died of a heart attack April 23 while plowing, as the tractor was found at the edge of the woods after having crossed a field.
