•  Funeral services for Mrs. John D. Pankratz, 66, of Hillsboro were held Saturday afternoon at the Alexanderwohl Church near Goessel.  Rev. Aaron J. Epp, the pastor, officiated.  Mrs. Pankratz died Dec. 3 at Salem Hospital in Hillsboro after a year's illness.  The former Lydia Wiebe, she leaves her husband of the home; sons Theodore of Walton, Erwin of Beach lake, Pa., Harvey of Halstead, and John Willis of Moundridge; three daughters, Mrs. Ross van Rossun of Newton, Mrs. George Goossen, Jr. of Peabody, and Mrs. Lee Becker of rural Newton; 21 grandchildren; three brothers and three sisters.
