Anna Ruth Ediger Baehr, 82, died June 24, 1998, at Garden City, N. Y. She was born March 23, 1916, at Clinton, Okla., the daughter of Jacob B. and Agatha Regier Ediger. She attended Bethel College in North Newton, Kan. She was a teacher and a poet.
In August 1938 she married Karl Baehr. He died Sept. 15, 1992.
Survivors include a son, Joel Baehr; a daughter, Beth Bullard, four brothers, Gus Ediger of Newton, Kan., Ott Ediger of Sinton, Texas, Tony Ediger of Orange, Calif., and Don Ediger of Overland Park, Kan.; a sister Hilda Voth of North Newton; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Alvin c. Ediger and Theodore Ediger.
The funeral was at Community church in Garden City.
