• Word was received here that Prof. Dan A. Richert, 55, of Syracuse, N. Y. and formerly of Newton, died suddenly on Monday. A son of the late Dr. and Mrs. Henry Richert, he taught biochemistry and engaged in research at Upstate Medical Center. He was a brother of Mrs. Leonard H. Buller of Newton. Surviving in his immediate family are his widow, the former Esther Beamer; three sons, John of Rochester, N. Y., Evan of Brunswick, Maine, and Eric of Palo Alto, Calif.; and one daughter, Mary, of the home. | |||
