Ohio Pastor Killed In Elevator Accident
REV. RAYMOND RICHER SERVED SPRINGFIELD CHAPEL AT HOLLAND, O.
Archbold, Ohio. — Rev. Raymond Richer, 47, founder and pastor of the Springfield Township Chapel at Holland, Ohio, was fatally injured while working at an elevator in Maumee on June 27.
Funeral services were to be held at the Springfield Chapel on Thursday forenoon, followed by afternoon services at the Central Mennonite church near here.
A resident of this area most of his life, Rev. Richer established the Mennonite mission at Holland in 1945. Present membership is about 50.
Survivors include his wife, the former Mae Wyse; one son, Roger of Holland; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Richer of Wauseon; two brothers and one sister.
