— Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Rich, 83 year old pioneer of the large Mennonite community at Berne, Indiana, were held at the Defenseless Mennonite church there Sunday afternoon, July 22. Her father was a native of France, though she was a life-long resident of Indiana. Her pastor, Rev. Oscar A. Eicher, officiated at the funeral.
