• Recent deaths of area residents included that of Frank P. Andres, 65, of Moundridge, which occurred Sunday evening at Axtell Hospital here. The funeral was announced for Wednesday afternoon at the Alexanderwohl Church, with Rev. Aaron Epp in charge. August Ewert, 81, retired farmer of Whitewater,, died Feb. 15 at Axtell Hospital. He was a member of the Federated Church at Whitewater, where the funeral was conducted Sunday afternoon. Mrs. Minnie (Goertz) Hiebert, 85, lifetime resident at Hillsboro, died at Salem hospital there on Feb. 11. Funeral services were held Feb. 15 at the Johannestal Church, with Rev. Victor Sawatzky and Rev. Esko Loewen in charge. Eight children and their families survive. | |||
