• Mrs. Sarah Reid, 76, formerly of Newton, died Tuesday at Schowalter villa in Hesston where she had lived for nine months. The former Sarah Flaming, she was born in Russia and came to this country at the age of five. The family settled in the Hillsboro community. Her first marriage was to Henry Schroeder, who died in 1943. Five years after his death she was married to George Reid, who died in 1960. Survivors include three daughters, four sons, one sister, one brother, 30 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. Funeral services are to be held Thursday afternoon at the Nazarene Church in Newton, of which she was a member. | |||
