<font size="+2">'''Hillsboro Retired Farmer Dies'''</font>
Hillsboro, Kan. &#8212; Funeral services for Jacob C. L. Hiebert, 78, a resident of this community for more than 60 years, were held at the Mennonite Brethren church of Hillsboro on Dec.19.  He died Sunday, Dec. 14, after being ill only a few days.
Mr. Hiebert was born in Greenfield, Manitoba, and came to the Ebenfeld community near here with his parents at the age of 14.  After his marriage to Caroline Litke, they farmed in the Ebenfeld community for a time and later moved to a farm northwest of Hillsboro.  In 1950 they retired and moved to Hillsboro.
Surviving are his wife, four children, two grandchildren, a sister, Mrs. G. B. Toews, and a brother, Isaac Hiebert, both of Hillsboro.

Hillsboro Retired Farmer Dies

Hillsboro, Kan. — Funeral services for Jacob C. L. Hiebert, 78, a resident of this community for more than 60 years, were held at the Mennonite Brethren church of Hillsboro on Dec.19. He died Sunday, Dec. 14, after being ill only a few days.

Mr. Hiebert was born in Greenfield, Manitoba, and came to the Ebenfeld community near here with his parents at the age of 14.
