• Funeral services for Mrs. Gussie Regier, 89, long-time resident here, were held Saturday afternoon at the First Mennonite Church, conducted by Rev. Arnold epp. Mrs. Regier died Nov. 6 at Bethel Deaconess Hospital after a brief illness. She was a resident of the Bethel Home for Aged. Born in Russia in 1880, she came to this community at the age of 12 with her parents, Rev. John and Margaret Epp. She was married here to Bernhard G. Regier, who died in 1934. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Donald McProud of Newton and Mrs. Esther Zerger of McPherson; one son, Walter E. of Newton; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. | |||
